Bricks for driveways come in a number of shapes and sizes, which slot together like tiles. Brick driveways are clean and attractive, and can be laid so to accommodate slopes or make uneven ground even. There are obviously many colour and brick shape options to choose from, so to fit your own taste. Also, block driveways do feel more comfortable underfoot than other options such as gravel. In winter the block driveway option is less slippery than concrete, so if your driveway is on a slope and ice could be a hazard then paving may be the option to choose. Once laid, paved driveways can be used almost immediately.
If there is a negative for a paved driveway then it is that it will be more expensive than a concrete, asphalt or gravel option. They do take longer to lay as well, so your drive may be out of use for a while longer.
